Tis’ the season for engagements and weddings galore. From the start of this wedding season I became even more grateful for all my wonderful couples on my book this year (and next!). This past week I got to shoot an engagement session in one of my favorite locations with an awesome couple + their adorably cute pooch!
When getting ready for an engagement session with a couple my main goal while booking is to get to know you + your interests. Getting to know you better gives me a feel for you both and makes it easier picking the perfect location that portrays your love for one another.
People often ask me if they should bring props or anything along with them, and my best advice is to not try and get too into the pinterest-y details. Although pinterest is great for ideas and fun to surf for hours, ( I am guilty myself ) my goal as your photographer is to portray you as a couple and show your love for one another by capturing simple, pure moments between the two of you.
