While others see things as a business transaction, I see a relationship, often becoming best friends with my couples. If you want to just hire someone to show up on your wedding day, that’s not me. I am going to help as much or as little as you prefer throughout the experience, starting with timeline planning and vendor referrals. I do not take my job lightly, nor do I see this day as just any wedding. It’s your wedding and the start of a legacy.
Relationships, Not Transactions

I will never make you do something just for the “shot.” I’ll take my cue from you as opposed to telling you what to do, while still directing you so you feel 100% confident. For example, we’ll never do serious poses if you’re just not serious people (unless it’s a must for grandma). I want every photo to be an authentic representation of who you are as a couple. As a result, your photos will feel like you because you, my friends, get to have a say — THE say. And the amazing part is, it’s just as creative and collaborative, but so much more impactful than standard posing.
Accommodating Approach

I’m talking about the fact that I deliver every single photo possible. Rather than editing a nice, rounded number of photos (as per usual in the industry), I’ll send every image my team and I take, except the rare outtake, so that you can have the honor of picking your favorites. In the photography world, that’s dynamite, but I don’t mind. I want you to have alllll the photos and the emotions and memories that come along with them. They’re your wedding photos after all, and you deserve every frame.

I might use a few too many exclamation points as I answer your questions, send full pricing details and make sure that you have every piece of information necessary to make the best decision for your wedding day. As expected, we’ll meet for a consultation to chat through your vision, my process and to make sure the connection is there. Getting along isn’t just an option, it’s a requirement for a fully personalized and luxurious wedding experience. (A sure sign that it’s a good fit? We can’t stop talking and a few dog photos have already been exchanged.) To officially save your date, you’ll receive an online contract and invoice.
In the booking process
Communication and coordination are my cups of tea. With touch-ins via email, phone call and questionnaires too, your day will start to come together. I’ll create your photography timeline and be available for any questions along the way. We may even get the chance to take engagement photos, if added to your package (yes!!). Many brides text me wedding dress photos and vendor questions too. I’ll collaborate with your planner as well during this time!
Before the wedding
My team and I will show up early to begin photographing the day — details, getting ready and venue shots too. Think laughter and luxury, and that’s exactly how it feels with my guidance. During those sensational moments (ceremony, first look, first dance, etc.), we’ll let the events naturally unfold while we take an unobtrusive approach to documenting it all. When it comes time for couple and family photos alike, we’ll step in a bit more to politely pose and guide everyone involved.
During the wedding
It’s rare that we’ll lose touch, staying up to date on anniversaries and life milestones in this romantic legacy of yours. As for the photos, sneak peeks are a guarantee within 24 hours, and that unending gallery will be sent over within two months (the heart of that honeymoon stage). You’ll likely see Instagram posts and other features with your one-of-a-kind wedding. The world needs to see the golden tones and romance of your relationship.

I book only 15 weddings a year. My associate photographer is available for dates beyond that!
Most couples book 10 hours of coverage with an engagement session! You can see the starting cost for this package on my services page.
I request a 30% service retainer and signed contract to book wedding dates. Payment schedules are available that lead up to the wedding day.
9 years and counting! I also dedicate a portion of my annual budget to continuing education through workshops, courses, etc.
My images evoke feelings of elegance and romance with a clean, timeless edit that will stand the test of time.
I use a comprehensive Canon system for digital and Contax 645 for film.
All photos are backed up in a state-of-the-art-process. I use both an external hard drive and a cloud backup, doubly securing your photos. In addition, after backing up the images, memory cards are placed in a fireproof safe until everything has been edited and delivered to you.
That’s not one of my tricks of the trade. I can, however, recommend some of my favorite videographers!
Image by image editing is included. I use tools like Lightroom and Photoshop to get a consistent look in every photo. I’m a nerd for skin tones and you will never not know my couples’ eye colors!! While I will of course take care of unwanted blemishes or any other distractions in the images, I do not include extensive retouching. My goal is an elegantly honest documentation of your day.
